Wherever you are, whoever you are, a cup of tea represents all the simple joys to be found in life.
The journey of tea began with fond memories of Sheena's childhood, growing up around the distinctly aromatic tea gardens located in the peaceful and lush green countryside of Mt. Kenya. The family enjoyed fresh batches of black tea which were destined for export, a treasure not aware to many had been a privilege for her. She decided to extend her knowledge of design and packaging from her previous experience of working with renowned brands, and combined this with her passion and love for tea to create Stir Me.
Sheena created a brand enriched with elegance and timeless quality producing a "Made in Kenya" product range promoting sustainable, equitable and flourishing growth. Kenya is a country known for exporting large volumes of this priceless treasure, once exported it generally loses its identity. Stir Me's vision is to offer that missing essence and quality of tea to the local shelves of Kenya and globally. Stir me introduces new and exciting varieties of specialty tea leaving people with a new perspective about the heritage and versatility of Kenyan tea.
